Cold applied wrapparound tape

Dasheng’s cold applied tapes are made from a polyethylene (CTB-Y) / polypropylene (CTB-B) woven backing coated with a layer of proprietary formulation consisting of butyl rubber. The installed product provides outstanding adhesion and elastic properties. It is highly adaptive to forces caused due t changes in temperature and soil stress creep. It has excellent anti-aging and UV resistance properties. The high tensile strength and elongation of the backing material offers superior mechanical protection. CTB-Y has a better tractility while CTB-B has a higher impact resistance value. And both of them perform very well in corrosion protection and repair of pipelines, storage tanks and irregular shapes like flanges, tees, bends etc.
